Dr. Zafar

 Dr. Ather Zafar joined Nephrology Associates of Tidewater in 2010 after completing his training at New York Medical College. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and holds an additional designation as a Clinical Hypertension Specialist.

He has a broad interest in all aspects of kidney disease and its management, with a focus on providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Dr. Zafar sees patients at our Chesapeake office and cares for patients at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

Outside of work, he enjoys birding, hiking, and traveling with his family.
