Ashka Everette

Ashka earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Norfolk State University in 1998 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University in 2023.

She brings a diverse clinical background, with experience as a medical-surgical nurse, intensive care nurse, and kidney/pancreas transplant coordinator at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Her work in transplant coordination played a key role in inspiring her to pursue advanced practice nursing.

Ashka is passionate about patient education and delivering patient-centered care, with a focus on empowering individuals to better understand and manage their health.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and volunteering within her church.
